Effective date: September 9, 2022 | Last updated: September 17, 2026
This page replaces all prior privacy policies and website terms of Scorpions Consulting LLC and Anthony Schlumpf, including the policy effective September 10, 2026.
By using the Site, submitting a form, or communicating with us, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. WHO WE ARE AND LICENSING
---------------------------
This website is operated by Scorpions Consulting LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("the Company," "we," "us"), located in Las Vegas, Nevada. [CONFIRM: add "d/b/a Scorp Consulting" only after the fictitious name / DBA filing is approved]
Insurance products are offered solely by Anthony Michael Schlumpf, an individually licensed insurance producer. National Producer Number (NPN): 19450729. Scorpions Consulting LLC does not sell or solicit insurance. [UPDATE this section once the LLC's Nevada business entity producer license is issued] References to insurance services on this website refer to services provided by Anthony Michael Schlumpf in his individual licensed capacity.
Life insurance and annuities. Anthony Michael Schlumpf holds a life line of authority, which covers life insurance and annuities, in the states listed below. He may also hold licenses in other states; contact us to confirm availability in your state.
• Nevada — Resident Producer, Life and Health, License No. 3527951
• California — Life, License No. 4158434
• Texas — Life, Accident, Health and HMO, License No. 2729907 [RENEWAL DUE 11/30/2026]
• Washington — Life and Health, License No. 1124380 (WAOIC)
Business licensing: Nevada State Business License No. NV2022564622, issued by the Nevada Secretary of State. Local business license: [CONFIRM City of Las Vegas or Clark County license # for the Flamingo Rd. address]
We solicit, sell and service insurance only in states where the producer is properly licensed and appointed. Nothing on this website is an offer to sell insurance in any state where we are not licensed. Licensing and lines of authority can be verified through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), Sircon, and each state's insurance department.
2. INSURANCE AND ANNUITY DISCLOSURES
------------------------------------
Content on this website is general and educational. It is not a proposal, illustration, contract or guarantee of coverage. Product availability, features, riders and underwriting rules vary by carrier and by state, and some products may not be available in your state.
• Guarantees. All insurance and annuity guarantees are backed solely by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. They are not guaranteed by Scorpions Consulting LLC, Anthony Schlumpf, any marketing organization, bank, or government agency, and are not FDIC-insured.
• Fixed and fixed indexed annuities are insurance contracts, not securities. A fixed indexed annuity does not directly participate in any stock, bond or index investment. Index-linked interest is subject to caps, participation rates and spreads that the carrier may change within contract limits.
• Surrender charges and limits. Annuities are long-term products. Withdrawals above the free-withdrawal amount during the surrender period may incur surrender charges and market value adjustments. Withdrawals before age 59½ may be subject to a 10% IRS additional tax.
• Riders may carry additional fees and have specific conditions and limitations.
• Life insurance requires underwriting. Coverage is not in force until the carrier approves the application, the policy is delivered, and the initial premium is paid, as the contract specifies.
• Indexed universal life (IUL) is life insurance, not an investment. Policy loans and withdrawals reduce cash value and death benefit, may cause the policy to lapse, and may create a tax liability if the policy lapses or becomes a modified endowment contract (MEC).
• Tax treatment. Any description of the tax treatment of a life insurance or annuity contract reflects current federal tax law as we understand it, depends on the contract being properly structured and maintained, and is subject to change. We do not provide tax advice. Consult your own tax professional about your situation.
• Illustrations are hypothetical and not guaranteed, except for the guaranteed elements the illustration specifically identifies.
• Replacements. Replacing an existing policy or annuity may involve new surrender charges, a new contestability period and loss of benefits. We follow each state's replacement rules.
• Annuity recommendations are made under applicable state annuity suitability and best-interest regulations, based on information you provide. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the recommendation.
Carrier and trademark disclaimer
Carrier names, logos and product names are trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement of this website. Anthony Michael Schlumpf is an independent producer and is not an insurance company. Materials that name a specific carrier or product are used only with that carrier's approval where required. [CONFIRM: do not display any carrier logo or product name until each carrier/IMO advertising approval is on file]
3. NO INVESTMENT, TAX OR LEGAL ADVICE
-------------------------------------
Anthony Michael Schlumpf is not a FINRA-registered representative, is not a registered investment adviser or investment adviser representative, and does not sell securities. Neither he nor Scorpions Consulting LLC offers securities, investment advisory services, tax advice or legal advice. Nothing on this website should be relied on as investment, tax, accounting or legal advice. Consult a licensed CPA, attorney or registered investment professional for advice about your situation.
4. BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND LLC FORMATION SERVICES
-----------------------------------------------------
Scorpions Consulting LLC provides business administration support, including help organizing and filing entity formation paperwork, back-office setup and general operational guidance.
• Not a law firm. We are not attorneys and do not practice law. No attorney-client relationship is created. We do not give legal opinions on which entity type, state or structure is right for you.
• Third-party providers do the filing. We do not prepare, file or submit formation documents. Entity filings, registered agent service and operating agreement templates are handled by independent registered agent firms in Wyoming and other states. We help you connect with a provider and set up your account. You then contract directly with that provider, receive your own login, and deal with that provider's customer service for your filings and documents.
• No responsibility for third-party providers. Those providers operate under their own terms, pricing and privacy policies. We are not their agent, we do not control their work, and we are not responsible for their services, filings, errors, delays, fees or document contents.
• Your responsibility. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for reviewing all documents before signing, and for ongoing compliance obligations such as annual reports, registered agent renewals, business licenses, beneficial ownership reporting (if applicable) and taxes.
• Government fees and timing are set by the filing state and can change. We do not guarantee approval or processing times.
• Tax outcomes. We make no representation that any entity structure will reduce taxes or limit liability in your circumstances. Obtain CPA and attorney review before acting.
[VERIFY with the Nevada Secretary of State: because you do not prepare or file documents, NRS 240A document preparation registration likely does not apply — confirm with their licensing division and note who you spoke with]
5. COMPENSATION DISCLOSURE
--------------------------
Anthony Michael Schlumpf is compensated through commissions paid by insurance carriers when a policy or annuity is issued. He may also receive bonuses, marketing allowances or other incentives from carriers and marketing organizations. Business administration services are billed separately under a written fee agreement. You may request more information about compensation at any time.
6. PRIVACY POLICY
-----------------
Information we collect
• Information you give us: name, contact details, date of birth, and, when you apply for coverage or services, financial, health, beneficiary and business information.
• Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring site, through cookies, pixels and similar tools.
• Information from others: carriers, underwriting and medical information services, and marketing organizations, as permitted by law and your authorization.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, prepare quotes and applications, service policies and client engagements, meet legal and regulatory requirements, prevent fraud, and improve our website and communications.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the contact information you submit — your name, email address or phone number — with advertising platforms such as Meta or Google. We share information only as needed to provide services or as the law requires or allows, including with:
• insurance carriers, underwriters and our marketing organizations for applications, suitability review and servicing;
• service providers that support our business, such as CRM, scheduling, email, payment processing and document providers, under confidentiality obligations;
• entity formation and registered agent providers when you engage those services;
• regulators, courts and law enforcement when required;
• a successor in a merger, sale of assets or similar business transfer, subject to this policy.
We do not share personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Nonpublic personal financial and health information is handled under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state insurance privacy laws. Health information is used only for underwriting and servicing and is never used for marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and analytics or advertising tools, which may include Google and Meta technologies, to understand site use and measure advertising. These tools work from website activity, not from the contact details you submit through our forms. These tools may collect information about your visit over time and across sites. You can control cookies through your browser settings or, where offered, our cookie preferences banner; some site features may not work without them. Opting out of advertising cookies stops tailored ads from those tools, not all ads.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep records for as long as needed to provide services and to meet carrier, regulatory and legal record-retention requirements.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update these disclosures from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated version.
Third-party links
Links to carrier, government or other sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
7. NEVADA PRIVACY RIGHTS AND OTHER STATE RIGHTS
-----------------------------------------------
Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined by NRS Chapter 603A. You may still submit a verified request directing us not to sell your covered information by emailing [email protected] or writing to the address in section 14. We will respond within the time the law requires.
Residents of other states, including California, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas and Washington, may have additional rights to know what personal information we hold, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Information collected for insurance purposes may be governed by GLBA and state insurance privacy laws rather than general state privacy statutes, and some records must be kept under insurance regulations even if you request deletion. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will verify your identity before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. SMS TEXT MESSAGING, CALLS AND EMAIL CONSENT
----------------------------------------------
SMS terms and consent
• Consent. By providing your mobile number on a form on this website, or by texting us, you are consenting to receive text messages from Anthony Michael Schlumpf and Scorpions Consulting LLC. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
• Types of messages. Appointment reminders, application and policy service updates, responses to your inquiries, and, where you separately opt in, marketing and promotional messages.
• Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You may receive up to approximately 4 messages per month, and more if you are actively working with us on an application or service request.
• Message and data rates may apply. Rates are set by your mobile carrier, not by us.

• Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at +1 (844) 813-3334 or [email protected].
• Privacy. No mobile information, mobile opt-in data, or SMS consent is shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your personal information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with the messaging service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, who may not use that information for any other purpose.
• Delivery. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Calls and email
• You also consent to be contacted at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automated technology, regarding your inquiry and related services.
• We honor the National Do Not Call Registry and our internal do-not-call list. Calls may be recorded for quality and compliance where permitted by law.
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message. Service messages, such as appointment confirmations and policy notices, may still be sent after you opt out of marketing.
9. SOCIAL MEDIA AND ADVERTISING POLICY
--------------------------------------
• Social media posts, videos, ads and comments by Scorpions Consulting LLC or Anthony Schlumpf are general education only. They are not a recommendation, offer, quote or guarantee.
• We do not discuss your personal policy, health or financial details in public comments or direct messages. Please contact us privately.
• Rates, carrier-specific features and product illustrations are not provided through social media.
• Posts and ads that reference specific products or carriers are submitted for required carrier or marketing-organization approval before publishing, and approved materials are retained as required.
• Testimonials, if used, reflect one client's experience, are not indicative of future results, and will disclose any compensation provided.
• Likes, shares and follows do not constitute an endorsement by us or of us. We may remove comments that are misleading, abusive or that disclose private information.
• Our use of each platform is also subject to that platform's advertising policies and terms.
10. WEBSITE TERMS OF USE
------------------------
By using this website, submitting a form, or communicating with us, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy above. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
• Informational use. Site content may change without notice and may not reflect current law, rates or product terms.
• No relationship created. Using this site or submitting a form does not create a client, agency, fiduciary or attorney-client relationship. A relationship begins only through a signed application or written engagement.
• Intellectual property and limited license. The Scorp Consulting name, logo, text and design are owned by Scorpions Consulting LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and download one copy of site materials for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not modify, copy, republish, mirror, reverse-engineer, or remove proprietary notices from any materials, or use them commercially or in any public presentation. This license ends automatically if you break these terms, and you must then destroy any downloaded materials.
• Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the site, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, or scrape content.
• Errors and links. Site materials may contain typographical or photographic errors, and we do not commit to updating them. We have not reviewed every linked site, and a link does not imply endorsement; use linked sites at your own risk.
• No government affiliation. Scorpions Consulting LLC is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.
• Changes. We may update these terms at any time. The version posted when you use the site applies.
• Payments. Fees for business services are governed by the applicable invoice or engagement agreement. Insurance premiums are paid to the carrier as the carrier directs.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
-----------------------------------------------
THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCORPIONS CONSULTING LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES, INCLUDING ANTHONY SCHLUMPF IN ANY CAPACITY, ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THIS WEBSITE, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR ANY DECISION MADE BY AN INSURANCE CARRIER OR GOVERNMENT AGENCY.
Business administration services are provided by Scorpions Consulting LLC as a company, not by any individual in a personal capacity. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including a licensed producer's statutory duties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scorpions Consulting LLC and its members, managers and representatives from claims arising from your misuse of the website, your violation of these terms, or inaccurate information you provide.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
------------------------------
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Binding arbitration and class action waiver
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO HAVE A JURY TRIAL.
Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this website, these terms, or the business administration services we provide, including questions about whether this arbitration provision applies, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. [CONFIRM administrator and rule set with counsel before publishing]
• Location and law. Arbitration will take place in Clark County, Nevada, or by telephone or videoconference at your election, and is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
• Individual basis only. Claims must be brought in your individual capacity. Class, collective, consolidated and representative actions are not permitted, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class proceeding.
• Jury trial waiver. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.
• Small claims. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court in Clark County, Nevada, if it qualifies.
• Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days after you first accept these terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms.
• What is not covered. This provision does not apply to claims that must be resolved through a state insurance department complaint process or other regulatory process, and does not limit your right to contact any regulator. It does not apply to insurance policy claims against a carrier, which are governed by the policy contract.
• Severability. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court in Clark County, Nevada, and the remainder of this provision still applies to all other claims.
Any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada. A signed engagement agreement controls if it provides otherwise. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
